Just an FYI

I had a dud primer today, after happliy shooting a few cases of the Portugese stuff over the past year or so.

I re-loaded it back into my Garand to see if it was just a lite f-pin strike but no joy. For the pure pursiut of science I loaded it into my Mauser but again no joy.............dud primer.

(yes, thay are both .308 barrelled rifles!)

That's still not too bad for cheap surplus ammo. One dud every few thousand rounds'll keep you on your toes for FTF/FTE drills.
