I just traded for a S&W Model 36 with no dash, pinned barrel, 1 7/8 inch barrel. The gun looks like new but I suspect it has been reblued at some point.
A guy I work with was wanting a game caller and remembered that I had one. The caller is one of the electronic multi-function types that you can buy from MidSouth for $86.00.
He suggested an even trade and I jumped on it. :what:

Now for the question, where can I get info on the manufacture date of this little revolver? Serial number is J492xxx.

Shipped in the 1976-77 time frame.

You would have to letter it with S&W to get more exact.
