Does anyone make a rifled barrel for the old Model 12? I have one and am not keen on the 5 to 6" groups from "Rifled Slug" that is just not good enough for me.
If no one makes them then I guess I would have to save up and get a new gun I kind of wanted to avoid that.

Many of the Model 12's were made with a full choke. Full chokes tend to decrease the accuracy of a slug.
I don't know if a rifled bbl is made for the Model 12. I checked barrelexchange.com and came up with this:
Winchester SUPER X-1 12 ga. $350.00 24 in. SLUG, RIFLE SIGHTS, 2 3/4 in., New VERY RARE,FACTORY, IN STOCK
It doesn't appear to be rifled.

no one makes a barrel for the model 12. model 12 barrels require hand fitting.

Winchester SUPER X-1 12 ga. $350.00 24 in. SLUG, RIFLE SIGHTS, 2 3/4 in., New VERY RARE,FACTORY, IN STOCKA Super X-1 barrel has nothing at all to do with a Model 12, except they both say Winchester on them.
And I agree with birdshot8's.
There were no factory rifled barrels for model 12's, because sabot slugs hadn't been invented yet when the Model 12 went out of production.
Anyone making an after-market barrel now would have to hand fit them to each individual gun, and they would end up costing you more then the gun itself is worth.
