TC Classic ammo feeding problems

Remington Golden bullets shoot more accurately for me than the Wally World Fed Classics however the don't feed too well in my Thomson Center Classic. One magazine is worse than the other but both won't run reliably. I never had this problem with the Fed Classic but it is not as accurate in my rifle. Any ideas?

Go on over to Rimfirecentral.com and visit the Thompson-Center forum. There are many threads on unreliable Classics, though they have tapered off a lot recently. Apparently, the Classic under about SN 8000 had some problems. Some of them were magazine-related, and some were not. In all cases of which I'm aware, Thompson-Center repaired or replaced the faulty parts.
My Classic is about SN 18XXX, and I've had no problems at all. It's actually more reliable and accurate than my Ruger 10/22, though both have had fewer than 500 rounds through them.
Don't give up - you have a fine rifle.

Thanks for the input. My S/N is 61xx so it may be a design problem. I will call them in the am and see what they say.
Thanks,
