from what I have read online you can't buy a set of adjustable sights to go in the pt1911 because they are cut for a heine dovetail.

has anybody here cut a new dovetail on their gun and installed a different rear sight? if so, was it hard?

does that mean the lomount and wilson combat notches are the same as the heine?

Problem is, the Heinie sight on the Taurus 1911 mutant is not a Heinie 1911 sight. It is the Heinie sight Taurus uses on their in-house designs and the cuts are not the same.
