M&P Barrel

Anybody know where i can buy a .357 Sig barrel and or 9mm conversion barrel for my M&P .40?
I have both full size and compact, so I would like to know about both. I found Storm Lakes website but they have no pricing info, and every distributor I clicked on had a really crappy homemade looking website with no online store.
Any help would be great.

I believe you can drop in a standard .357sig barrell into a .40 m&p. This is what I was told but you may want to call S&W and ask.

I sent an E-Mail to S&W on this very topic. The response I got was (to paraphrase), "I'll have to check with Engineering, but even if it were that simple, we do not sell barrels separately to anyone except gunsmiths."
I never heard back again after that.

You probably will be able to change the barrel from 357 to 40 but not to 9mm. The breachface is a different size on the 9mm.

Storm Lake is making a barrel to convert the 40 to 9mm. Take a look at this thread

I don't see how they are doing that??? :scrutiny:
The extractor hook on the M&P must be very long. I am sure you will have to replace the recoil spring.

I switch between 9mm and 40 all the time with my G22 with only a barrel and mag change. Never had any functioning issues.
Stormlake is the only one I know that makes them for the m&p.
