Found a #1 20 ga., 28" barrels yesterday. The seller thought it was a #2 and it was priced accordingly. Need to have the stock bent, currently has .2" cast on for a lefty. I scheduled stock work. If the wood wasn't so lovely I'd attempt it myself-"good man knows his limitations".
I've been looking for one for a couple yrs. as a companion to my 12 ga. #1.
Life is good.

Nice find, and same way I found a No:1 .410" a few years ago, wish I still had it.

Neil. :)

Enjoy. I've handled a few AyAs and coveted every one....

Good decision. It can be a tricky prospect on a sidelock. Best left to the people with lots of experience.

Here's a site you might find interesting. It explains the proof marks, date codes and maker's marks on Spanish guns.

:( I'll shed a tear not because of your good fortune. But because you're converting a good lefty SXS into a righty and there's just not a lot of good lefty SXS out there.

No Sir.
Lever is for right hand shooter.

Neil.

While I prefer LH canted triggers and cast on, I do not want the lever reversed, nor do I want the barrels reversed - I find it easier to push the lever with my thumb than pull it....YMMV

Lever is for right hand shooter.

Then it a right-handed gun that has already been bent, you are only returning it to standard spec's.

Neil. :)
