Finally shot my Ithaca DSPS

Earlier this year I purchased an "as new" 1980 Ithaca 37 DSPS. Various issues (illness, broken finger, etc.) conspired against me from heading to the range and giving her a proper shake down.

FINALLY, I got to spend a few hours with the gun. Mostly shot at 10 ~ 15 yards. Used Federal and Winchester low recoil 9 pellet 00.

Gun shots dead nuts point of aim and produces nice salad plate sized pellet patterns at 10 yards. No feed issues, smooth trigger, slick action. I am glad it has the factory recoil pad after 300 rounds.

I knew I always wanted a nice Ithaca after shooting a friends fathers years and years ago. Today I reminded myself why I made the purchase. :D

Thanks for the update. A suggestion, keep the buck sessions to 100 rounds or less.

You may want to try the Estate RR buck also.
