Yes, I bought the Steyr Scout with the nifty Jeff Cooper logo on the stock. Comes with a Scout Scope, flip up iron sights, hard case, two mags, folding bipod, Ching sling, etc. One more thing: in 376 Steyr caliber! :o :uhoh: Four boxes of Hornady's finest and I'm off to the range.

Hornady Ammo Specs: either a 225gr or 270gr Spire Point, each at 2,600 fps. The 225 is supposed ot be a reduced load. :o

Wish I could post a pic of these one-hole groups this baby did. I am technically challenged, however. Yeeouch! and that puppy kicks. Who says there is no purpose for a 6.6 pound 375 H&H? :what:

Congratulations! Sounds like you got a good one. Most .376s I've heard of do 1.25" groups at 100 yards. And your .376 Steyr Scout should weigh more like 8 pounds unloaded and without sling.
