What are the best websites to pick up reloading supplies(dies, brass, bullets, powder, etc)?

there are all kinds of places to get reloading supplies.

midway USA is good, but people complain their shipping fees are high.

graf and sons seems good.

lots of people seem to like powder valley. never bought from them before.

used to be there were a lot of bargains on brass and bullets at eBay but eBay has since banned the sale of reloading components. i have not found a good replacement site. i think they still allow the sale of reloading equipment. used to be a fair number of bargains there on equipment as well.

a lot of times local gun clubs have members who organize bulk sales to avoid high shipping and hazmat fees. often it is unofficial and haphazard so you may not even know it is going on.

you might also be able to get together with like minded friends and do a bulk powder and primer buy.

Good comment on Midway and their shipping, though they do have a nice online catalog to use as a reference. Their web is slow, too.

Viking499 - try to research any/all local sources near you first, so you don't have to pay shipping on lots of heavy bullets or the hazmat fees for powder and primers. I go to a local hole-in-the-wall reloading supply shop a lot, because it's cheaper to buy from him in the long run. Although I have found a great source for inexpensive bullets, but he only makes 6 kinds.

I use Starline for brass. The prices at their website includes shipping, which I found to be less than on Midway. Midway sells their brass without shipping included, for more. It doesn't make any sense, but if you buy Starline brass, buy it directly from them.

I don't know why people complain about Midways shipping. Last time I ordered something it was a tumbler 7lbs of media, polish and it cost 13 bucks. Not bad. I ordered a bunch of stuff a while back ad it ran 20 bucks. I mean sure if you order 5k bullets it will be high but they arent that bad. They use std ups rates like most big companies. I like them because of their selection and if I can buy it from one place that is cheaper than buying from a few places. As far as reloading stuff I hit the Midway specials. I never pay full price for them. Powder Valley for powder and primers. For bullets my next big order of lead will probably be from twoalpha. Jacketed I will just shop around.

Grafs is my primary source, Midway if no one else has it. Also if you have a Curio & Relic FFL (costs $30 to get - well worth it even if you don't plan to buy milsurp guns) you'll get a discount from both Grafs and Midway.
I only buy lead bullets from people that use "flat rate" USPS shipping. $10 for up to 70 lbs of bullets is not too bad and way less than UPS.

Powder Valley seems to ship by UPS ground as std, so it would be by weight. Powder and primers will get the additional $20 HazMat fee per order.

I just got a delivery in from them yesterday.
It was a little over 30 pounds of stuff. 20.00 Hazmat and 11.95 shipping.
Still saved more than 60 bucks over the cheapest retail in my area.

I gotta go with Grafs. When I log on to their site I know shipping is always going to be exactly $4.50 unless the total comes to their magic number at which point they pay all the shipping. I like that. If my total budget is $85, then it's really easy to know when to stop shopping.

When you have an issue at Grafs, a real person takes care of it. And they work really hard to satisfy their customers.

The only thing I don't buy there is Berry bullets, which I buy direct.

Not only delays due to "frenzy" but also crappy weather.

I am waiting for some backordered AR15 mags from Midway and a powder/primer order is still somewhere in a Fedex trailer being held up by snow and ice.

If it isn't one thing it's another. Good thing I believe in keeping a good stock on hand so I don't run out waiting for freight etc.

BTW, Midway seems to have a "Backorder" problem. Just about everything that is popular is on Backorder.

Lots of companies are swamped and delays are common. I had a three-week wait for a Widener's order; Graf order that went to "processing" over a week ago still hasn't shipped.

I just found out that my local gun club does group orders - which splits the hazmat fees over a large group of people. Turns out to be the way to go for me.

They have NO primers... lol.....
