I want to get into handloading and reloading 45LC but where I live in California there is no one that has experience doing such a thing, and I was wondering if anyone could give me an itemized list of everything I would need to start loading myself. Right now i dont have any reloading equipment at all. Thanks.

I would get the Lee anniversery kit. A nice set of calipers and carbide 45LC dies also from Lee. The anniversery kit has a good loading manual with it, but if your not familar with reloading start with the ABCs of reloading. Then of course powder(s) and primers. READ the manuals.I also load for the 45LC and that kit was what I started with and still have. good luck and be safe. Bob

Read this thread (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=238214) first (it's the sticky at the top).
There are innumerable links here to threads that have discussed newbie needs--you can, for example search on a brand name, like Dillon, Lee, or RCBS. Here (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=337524&highlight=Classic+Cast) and here (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=335512) are links to two such threads that focus on the Lee Classic Cast Turret (a press most of us consider to be the "best buy" approach) and related accessories.
When you've done that, then post back here with any more questions, and your list--free advice is always available, and sometimes it is worth more than its cost.
