I got to handle mine just a little bit ago, it feels great, big enough that it feels like it'll shoot very well, small enough grip to conceal easily, light like any Polymer gun, looks like the lovechild of a USP 9mm and Sig P-228, and it just sort of radiates awesomeness. Plus it comes with three magazines, and costs less than $400 if ordered from CDNN.

Unfortunately I was delayed, so I'll have to wait to bring mine home.

I have one and love it! The FNP-9m is a hair smaller than the FNP-9, so keep that in mind. I have medium-large hands and my FNP fits perfectly. It shoots very straight, has very little recoil and is an excellent gun overall. I paid $390 for mine brand new, with 3 factory stainless steel magazines. Overall, it looks great, shoots fantastic, and represents a smokin' deal for a hammer forged stainless barrel and stainless slide polymer weapon.

FN makes 70% of the small arms for the US Military, and the FNP handguns are made in the same US factory as our military weapons.

Oh and I thought the sights were very quick and easy to pick up.

I plan to pick up a full size 9mm at some point. I guess I am looking at XD's, Glocks, M&P, FN, and CZ. I saw a good review of the CZ and was considering it simply because it would be unique in my collection. The FNP coming with 3 mags is a big plus in my book.

It seems that whenever I see reviews and such on the FNP pistols, I always hear about one problem or another. Is it just a newly released design having some teething problems? Or is it just a few people?

I have one in 9mm and it's very nice. This is the only polymer framed gun I found that I actually like. I'm a mostly revolver/1911 guy, and this fits right in. Mine is SAO, which I had to order to get my mitts on, but it's a very good CCW, and I carried it cocked and locked in an IWB rig meant for a Glock 19. The gun fit the holster very well, and saved me a long search for a "proper"
Long story short, Chief, the gun is good. I'm very tough on my guns, and this one runs pretty well. Cost was $450, and I spent another $150 on mags and leather. Pretty darned good value.
Very Respectfully,
