I have a Sig 229R in .40. I saw that Sig now offers a .22lr kit for it.

Has anyone had experience with this kit, and if so, how did it work out? I'd love it if my 229R reliably shot .22lr as well.... :)

On that note, if it sucks, it wouldn't be a complete disappointment - after all, I can just use my Browning Buckmark camper with the 7.25" tac-sol barrel. :evil:

I want one for my 228, but they are very expensive. If they were half the price i would be all over one. Like any conversion kit, they will have cycling issues with certain ammo from what i have read.
