I'm thinking about getting one. Does anyone have and use them? Will they pull big bullets such as the WSMs?

if they make a collet for it it will pull the bullet! not so good with handgun bullets as the profile provides no was to grasp it, so you would need a kinetic one.

I have used the Hornady puller for a few years and it does a great job. I have easily pulled military bullets in 8mm and 7.62x54R without slipping or marking and they are sealed and crimped much heavier than sporting loads. I highly recommend it. It's also very quick to use with the cam action.

One way to help pull your bullets easier is to set up your bullet seater die for that particular cartridge say like the 7.62 x 54r,run the bullet up into the die,run the seating plug down till it touches, remove the case and set it down about another 1/8 ". Run all your cases through the die to press the bullet down inside the case,it breaks the seal and crimp especially on old military rounds. Makes for and easier pull later.

Anybody use one for M1 carbine, somebody gave me a full case of the fake LC52 .30 M1. I'd like to pull the bullets and powder, a kinetic puller is going to be a headache.

Great tool! I used a very old single-stage press to use as a dedicated "pulling station" with the Hornady Cam-Locks. I have one set up for .45 and one for 9MM so I don't have to change collets & re-adjust. With a little practice "getting the feel" of them, I found I can even pull most plated bullets without damage and jacketed are no problem.
