If a American/european company where to modify a current production gun in the 9mm Makarov or 7.62x25mm Tokarev, which gun into which cartridge would you like to see?

:D

I'd absolutely love a 7.62 Toakarev CZ75 clone. Mostly just for novelty value, but I'd also be hoping that they could have reliable doublestack mags and I'd have a Five-seveN on the cheap.

7.62x25, for sure. The 9x18 Maks are all fascinating and fun, but the 7.62x25 Tok has a lot more novelty.

7.62x25 Tok is kind of a long cartridge, a doublestack pistol would make hash of the CZ75's nice ergos with a huge grip.

I'd actually like to see a semi-auto Vityaz in the US (longer barrel of course).

7.62x25 for me.

I'd really like a PPSh-41 or 43 .

I'd love to see a nice 15+1 round DA/SA 7.62x25 pistol. Regarding 9x18, I don't know how one would top a Makarov, unless it were to boost the capacity. But, then it wouldn't be so flat and would lose most of its carry-ability.

I took a my father-in-law and a few buddies to the range on Thursday. We each brought a few pistols. We had some VERY nice pistols there (1960 Colt Commander, Walther P88, various SIGs). Guess what stole the show...my Polish TT33! EVERYONE LOVED the pistol and was astonished by the 7.62x25!!!

I would love to see a DA/SA 7.62x25 pistol on the market!

I would love to see a 7.62x25, if for no other reason than that there isn't one being currently imported. (There's at least 1 mfg in europe making them there.) CZ-USA currently imports the CZ-83 in both 380ACP and 9x18MAK (the 9x18 version is real hard to find though). The CZ-83 is basically a modern-production VZ-82 with one or two minor changes.

Those are two really great calibers. Personally, I'd like to see a Glock in each of them.

I would also like the 7.62-25, not many options out there for it and I think it has a lot of potential.

I think the CZ 82 is a great little platform for the 9-18. Not sure honestly how one would improve upon that one much.
