I just snagged a Mossberg 835 for a song. One of my friends has three barrels for a Mossberg 500 that he no longer wants. Is there any chance that the 500 barrels will fit my 835?

The 500 and the 835 have a different mag tube setup. The 500 has close tube and the 835 has an open tube and can accept a tube ext. The 500 can't.

The Mossberg 500 Breacher barrel 18.5" and 590A1 18.5" barrel will fit your 835. They have the same mag tube setup. The 500 breacher shotgun is not a standard model 500 shotgun. You can't shoot 3.5" shells out of these barrel if you did install one on your 835, only up too 3" shells.
