Looking for info on the "EDC" gunsight form the late 80's early 90's. This thing was a small reddot sight that attached to the weapon via an adhesive mount. It was tiny, had an off/on switch and point of aim could be adjusted. Just wondered what ever happend to these, are they available?

Don't really remember the EDC but the Dr. Optik or Optima 2000 (no longer in production) are very small, suitable for pistol, and adjustable. They have no switch but have very long battery life and adjust automatically to ambient light. The Dr. Optik has been use by at least one of our guys in iraq with favorable results. I plan on getting on at some point.
