It's a 1911 clone. Heavy, stainless steel. Feels good in my hand. I saw one today at a gun show. They want $350 for it. Looks almost new. What do you think? Thanks.

Dave :)

Junk! My father in law bought one new some years back, mid 1990's. He got rid of it quick.

I ran across a couple fellows shooting handguns at the range a couple years back. One was having hell with his gun jamming. I looked at it and it was a Laser aim.

I guess they just ain't what they were cracked up to be! Long gone and out of business as far as handguns go.

That is the going rate for a good condition gun. It is a novel collecting item.

For shooting, some are good, and others may have had problems. It is the first gun I know which was conceptualized with a frame rail, and for a laser. PRoduction, anyway. I thought it was coo, with beavertail upswept, and so on.

If you like the way it looks, and want to collect, then go for it. If you expect a stone-cold reliable gun for daily carry, and lightweight, get a new polymer wonder-gun.

I like mine, by the way.

They are a cool looking gun. The youg guy at the range was interested in selling me his!

"No thanx", I remember my FTL's experiences, had watched the guy repeatadly clearing jams from his. Just not interested in a project pistol.

They couldn't have made those things for very long. I remember them, but you just almost never saw one. Might be rare.

Somewhere around the mid to late 90s Laserarm ads seemed to be in every gun magazine and shortly thereafter seemed to disappear. Have never seen one though. If I recall, they were made in a couple of calibers, .45 and maybe 10mm.

See, this is why I love THR.:) I've never heard of LaserAim until just this second. But it seems that if the stories are true, $350 might not be a bad price for a little collectible, just so long as you don't expect a perfect shooter out of it.
