I've been homeschooling my son and have been trying to use online resources whenever possible.
One I have been using is brainpop.com I've been careful to explain things they gloss over in their animation shorts.
They just added a social studies section and one of the first catagories is the bill of rights.
My first thought is "oh great how are they going to handle the 2nd?"
Surprisingly the narrator says: "Although it sounds scary" "the second guarantees the right of the people to own guns for self defense as well as defense of the country".
I about fell out of my chair.
The series is hosted by a cartoon kid and his pet robot.
You can register and get two free educational movies per day.

I'm going to write them thanking them for their stance on the 2nd amendment and renew my membership.
