Does anybody have any info. on IMR 7625 for a 44 mag. I reloaded some today based on IMR's data. I used 10gr. of 7625 with a 180 xtp. I wanted something for plinking and it worked great, hardly any recoil. I was amazed how clean this powder is, I didn't have to clean the gun after 6 shots. When shotting factory winchester 240gr, my cylinder and barrel is all black. I use 7625 in my 40s&w and it works very good. I am wondering if anybody has loaded a 44mag to make a hotter load with 7625? I also wonder why people don't use this powder more for pistols. I noticed that it burns hotter than H110, which is a common powder for 44 mag.
