Just saw another thread commenting that Guns and Ammo TV seemed aimed primarily at old white guys.

I also read a Ted Nugent interview wherein he complained that the "Gun Community" seemed interested only in having closed discussions within itself.

My question is this: How do we spread the message of gun rights?

How do we reach new audiences we haven't reached before?

I know there are several folks on this board who are NOT middle aged white guys.

And I want some ideas posted in response.

Invite some non-gun owners from work, school, church or other groups you are involved with to go shooting with you. Educate them on the truth about guns/crime/RKBA. Once they are into guns, tell them to do the same to some non-gun owner they know. Then pick another person for yourself and start over.

If you have kids in school, make sure of what they are being taught about history/civics/guns. If they are being indoctrinated into the anti side, raise hell with the teacher, principle and school board.

These groups are all fine organizations. Also, read up on the racist and elitist history of victim disarmament in the Jim Crowe South, laws against immigrants and labor union members owning guns, and the like. Tell liberals about this stuff.
As a moderate liberal myself, I can tell you that it will really make 'em squirm. Ask them how they can call themselves liberal and yet support sending out the police and the army to imprison and kill people who haven't threatened anyone, haven't hurt anyone.
