:o
ok, so apparently as i was cleaning my press, i let a spring slip off and now my shell plate isn't advancing.
the 1050 b or super or whatever it is, has an assembly that moves the shell plate. mine is the version with the long tail on it, NOT the one pictured in the regular 1050 manual (which I received with my press... i.e. my real part isn't the same as what's pictured in the manual).
anyways, there's a roller that moves this assembly one direction, and a spring which resets it. THAT spring is attached to the assembly on one end, and the other is just floating. clearly, it needs to be attached somewhere to the press, but dang if i can see where it goes.
there is a screw in the neighborhood that doesn't look like it's doing anything important... but it's about an inch too far away. maybe my spring was longer and i broke the end or something?
any ideas would be MUCH appreciated
