Not really a question but more of a story...
Yesterday my son (1.5 years) and I were playing the the back yard (which is 100% dirt). Of course, we both got extremely dusty. I was planning on taking him into the shower with me, but then it hit me to run through the sprinkler with him (in the front yard).
I stripped him down to a diaper and let him loose. Then I pulled my shirt off when I remembered that I was pocket-carrying my Kel-Tec P-32. Obviously, I couldn't just leave him there and go inside to stow it, nor did I want to run though the sprinkler with it. Nor did I want to grab a now-drenched toddler and carry him inside with me. To make things worse, my two neighbors were chatting on the adjacent porch while watching my son trapse through the water.
I grabbed a hold of the pistol and holster and discretely wrapped it up in my shirt. I put the shirt and pistol on my porch and ran through a couple of times. After he was done, I dried him off and then headed upstairs with my shirt to get some clean clothes.
I guess I could have left it in my pocket, but I didn't want to soak my pistol and holster and have to clean/dry them later. Next time I will think about it before I get the water going.
