I've seen several threads about guns purchased from CDNN. How to you buy from them? Whenever I've gone to their website, it says you must have an FFL to purchase from them.

Unless you live in the same state and go TO Bud's you're going to have the same problem.

You need to find an FFL in your state who will order the gun for you. Here in Ohio, I have a couple, both of whom charge reasonable fees.

Find a FFL where you live who will order for you.

Or who already has a copy of thier FFL on file with CDNN.

In that case, your can order from them yourself, pay by credit card, and they will ship to the FFL so he can do the backround check & paperwork.

If you go that route, you save paying state sales tax.

If the dealer pays CDNN, and you pay the dealer, he has to charge sales tax. (in most states anyway)

You order gun from CDNN, pay CDNN, CDNN then ships to a FFL of your choosing, FFL dealer does appropriate background check/waiting period/etc.. on you and passes gun on to you.

Call CDNN ( or whoever) and get a fax number, then have your FFL fax a copy of their FFL to CDNN. Then call CDNN to confirm receipt of fax, and that it's acceptably clear.
Then give them your credit card number for the new toy in question, then they ship to your FFL, and a few days later you go to your local FFL and fill out the gubment paperwork and receive new toy.
At least that's how it always goes for me.

Actually, you must still pay the sales tax if the gun is new. (At least in Florida you do)

I guess my question wasn't clear. I understand that the gun must be shipped to a local FFL. My question is how do you place the order? You need to login to their website to place the order, or even just to check prices, and the website says that an FFL is required to get a login.

Apparently, you need to download their catalog, find what you want and then have your local FFL place the order.

Only have to pay the sales tax if the gun was purchased at a store in Florida, or if it is a chain store, and the chain store has a location in Florida, you'll have to pay. otherwise you don't pay the sales tax(you're supposed to, but there is no enforcement..yet)

Find an FFL that will receive the gun for you. Make sure you're happy with their transfer fee.

Call CDNN and order firearm. Once its paid for, CDNN will need a copy of the receiving FFL, send it to them and go to your shop when it arrives. all done. easy

Just call the 800 number. They'll tell you prices on whatever you're looking for and they'll take your info over the phone.
