well, i've never even held a TRP before...the fit and finish looked really good though.

I own both.

Any Baer if far better made than the TRP. If you need the money, it might still be a good deal for you, but you won't get as good a 1911 out of the bargain. The original machining on the SA TRP isn't up to snuff with the Baer guns, and the TRP also has a lot of MIM parts. Nothing against the TRP, and I shoot mine a lot, but it isn't up to Baer standards. FWIW.
