Would you carry during an interview?

While reading the "gun free wallyworld" thread, it occured that I might carry someday during an interview, and not even think about it until halfway thru. If it was somewhere that wasnt obviously No-Carry (university, .gov), would you carry?

In the three years since I got my CCW, I've left the house without my G26 perhaps two dozen times.
I don't leave my gun home without a durn good reason not to carry it. A job interview wouldn't be one of those reasons.

I've done it. The job turned out to be bogus.

I've done it several times. Never considered NOT carrying. It's no big deal unless there are pat-downs, metal detectors or strip searches. Or the interview location is a place where carrying is against the law (like a bar, school, correctional facility).
Best.

I have carried for every job interview I've had for since I got my CCW six years ago, except the last one. I work at a college as an overnight dorm supervisor, and carrying is illegal (MGL chapter 140). That meant no carry to the interview.
One part of the law is that I could carry with express written permission from the director of public safety. Since we don't know each other from Adam, I wouldn't ask now. Even if we did get to know each other on a casual basis, I can predict what his answer would be if I asked. Campus police carry OC and batons, but not firearms, so why in the world would he sign off on me?
I do have philosophical problems with submitting to a victim disarmament zone, but it's better than living on the street. If it was simply a matter of college rules I would carry anyway, but this is state law we're talking about.

Per your parameters, I carry unless I plan on drinking.
I've yet to drink at an interview.

:D
I've carried (fully concealed, of course) on all interviews I've been on in the last 4 months. I plan on carrying Thursday on an interview for a job with a subcontractor for a FedGov alphabet soup agency. The interview is in a questionable part of town, off the work premises, in the contact's hotel.
I've spoken with him by phone several times, never met him face to face yet. I want the job, from what he's said and what I've learned independent of what I've been told. I just am leery of meeting on what I consider 'disadvantaged ground'...
If I'm invited to accompany him to the work site, I'll discreetly remove my weapon from my person and leave it in a secure place, as work is going to involve metal detectors, clearances, secure areas, and so forth. When I get hired on, then I'll see what hoops I'll have to jump through to carry concealed as a civilian employee, if possible.
Oh, the new toys will immediately be in my next quarter budget if I get the job.

Rabbit

I carry at all times. They don't want me armed, they don't want me.

I was once asked on an interview about my being known to carry guns. I replied that I was carrying only a .38 for the interview, but I usually carry a .45 at work.
I got the job. (I lied, at that job I usually carried a 638 and left my coat in the office.)
The job was nightclub manager.

Yes. Don't ask, don't tell.
