Marine Tex and other bedding issues

I'm getting closer to that action-bedding project now that I fixed that broken receiver screw problem.
I have picked up the medium sized kit of Marine Tex White epoxy.
This is the right stuff, right? It is, indeed, white and has the consistancy of puddy with an amber colored activator. It should be really, really easy to use as it won't flow all over the place. It is rated at 8,000 psi (way stronger than most epoxies.
I am going to use a car wax as the release agent. Some have mentioned different brands to use, such as Simonize, so I will go with that.
I have purchased two non-capped bolt studs that I will use to anchor the receiver into the stock. Some have suggested to tighten these bolts while others have said to use rubber bands, or zip ties to snug the action into the stock.
Opinions?
Rick

Well, Rick, you asked.....
I would use Brownells' Accraglass Gel if it was my first bedding project. The kit comes complete with release agent, and the material is specifically made for guns. It even comes with the packets of pigment that color the bedding compound to match the stock.
I just don't care to use finishes or bedding compounds that I am not certain are made for guns. The compressive strength may be OK, but how is its resistance to gun solvents? How much does it shrink or swell? What is its adhesion to wood, etc.?
Just an opinion........

Rick, I like to make it snug, not so tight that you squeeze out all the bedding you just put in! But since it is just snug, be sure that everything is lined up straight, like the bbl in its channel.
Use plenty coats of wax, and dnt forget putty if needed to fill in small areas.
Bedding isn't too hard, and its a good thing to know how to do.

I did a rifle with Acraglass last year. It wasn't a problem (<.5MOA).
I did a search on Marine Tex epoxy on the web and found that it was the fave of many smiths since its putty-like consistency doesn't run all over the place. It has a list of solvents to which it is impervious (the list is many, and reflect what one might find near a boat engine, and then some).
Off to AutoZone for some Simonize car wax.

Two great rifle bedding expose's.
One written by a fan of Mr. McMillan, and the other written by Gale himself and edited and posted by the fan after Gale proofed it.
