The Sig-Pro is a polymer frame semi-auto chambered
for the 9m/m Parabellum, .357 SIG, and .40 S&W
caliber's. It will cost less than a SIG "Classic P-series"
autoloader of the same (or different) caliber.

The SIG P226 is a member of the famed SIG-Sauer
"Classic P-series*" self-loader's. It too, is avaialbe in
9m/m, .357 SIG, and .40 S&W caliber's. However,
generally speaking it will run you between 7 or 8
C-notes; depending on where you buy it! But, it
is well worth the difference; as its a "world-class
firearm"!

*FootNote- All SIG "Classic P-series" self-loaders
have aluminum frames; as opposed to the SIG-Pro's
polymer frame.

Also, the P226 is a full-size pistol with a 4.4" barrel. The SIG Pros are more of a compact-size gun (closer to P228/229 dimensions) with 3.8" barrels.
