Well I do not know how to spell the name but a man brought one into the shop yesterday NIB. It was a 38 super and # 301 of a 350 pistols run it was a beautiful gun.
The boss just didn't have the funds to get it, and our traffic just isn't geared to the collector, the man priced it at a reasonable price for a custom shop Colt $1000

All of the El series are produced for commercial sale in Mexico. Yes that's right. I imagine south of the border prices a re a Lot higher and you have to be a seriously wealthy hombre to afford one. Why .38 super? .45 is a restricted caliber in Mexico. All of the El series are very expensive and run in small lots.

The man who ownes the gun is a good friend and it is a beautiful pistol with mother of pearl grips. That said I couldn't afford it if I sold 1/2 of my collection (which I wouldn't do).
