Hi Folks,

Did anyone see the new Springfield Scout M6 Carbine survival rifle in a recent (August or September?) American Rifleman?

It's similar to the existing Scout rifle, but it has a side folding stock, a pistol grip, a traditional trigger (not like the Scout rifle), and has a rifled lower barrel for .410 shells or .45 Colt ammo.

Any idea on when this model will be available for sale to the public? Has anyone heard any other news about this gun?

It looks like it's more handy than the existing Scout M6. I checked out Springfield's website, but didn't see any info about this new rifle.
