Need to make a decision

I am thinking about getting a concealed weapons license and i have narrowed my choices down to two guns. My choices are a .45 S&W model 4506 and a 9mm Browning Hi Power. Both are good guns and shoot well. They have basically the same feel, but the .45 is slightly bigger. I need some help with my decision. What are your thoughts?

Isn't the S&W 4506 a DA/SA action where you would carry hammer de-cocked and the Browning Hi-Power would be Condition One aka
Cocked and locked?

Depends on which mode of carry you are more sure of and comfortable with right?

Either one is fine. Pick the one that you feel most comfortable with and don't look back.

Make sure that whatever you choose is comfortable for you to carry. If it isn't, you won't.

Do you have to limit yourself to one gun on your license? Pity.

I think a 4506 is a lot bigger than a BHP, and would get left home when you might have carried the Browning.

Have you ever tried to conceal a 4506? :uhoh: I quit open carrying mine since it was so heavy and pointy.

Try carrying something weighing 2 1/2 to 3 pounds stuffed down your pants all day before you make a decision on either one of them.
