I have an old revolver with elephant logos on the left side and on both sides of the grip. The underside of the barrel above the ejector is stamped ''940''.
The top of the barrel is stamped ''best american cartridges are those that fit best the T. A. C. revolver'' The left side of the barrel is stamped ''32 long ctg''
Anybody know what it is ?

It is a Spanish copy of one or another Smith & Wesson made by Trocaola Aranzabal Y Cia in Eibar.

Jim;
Thank you very much.
The origin of that revolver has been a family mystery for many years.
