I've been a lurker here for a while and thought I'd finally register. Can't stand outside the window for too long before having to go inside.

My friends father passed away a while ago and they wanted to get rid of a couple handguns. One of which is a 99% blued Model 19-3, 6" barrel.
S/N 2K630**
No boxes or paperwork, just the gun in fired, but in top notch condition

There is also an old Beretta semi-auto. Markings include:
P. Beretta Cal 9 Corto M(some symbol) 1934 Brevei

opposite side: Gardone VT 1942 XXI

Glad you joined us but I don't quite know what you're asking. The Smith sounds like a nice revolver and the Beretta is likely a WWII Italian issue piece in 380 ACP.

I just noticed I didn't ask a question. Duh! I'm looking for appx date of mfgr and value on those. I've already found some info but since I'm looking to buy the Smith I want to give my friend a fair price.

Shipped 1971.

Old S&W prices have been going up faster then I can keep up with, but you could expect to pay $350 - $400 for a very nice one around here I would think.

The S&W would have been made in 1972, the Beretta just 30 years earlier as the marking indicates.
