just picked this little black pistol up cause the price was right, and after shooting it today, i don't consider it trade fodder anymore. this thing is a whole lot of fun to shoot and the holes end up right where i want them to go. i'd go as far as to say i enjoyed shooting it more than my beretta 92 Today... just wondered what anybody else thought of this particular weapon or insight on it.

Get yourself some hi-caps and replace those plastic sights with metal ones---or better yet ---some night sights------and you will have one fine weapon.

These really do seem like a good value (around $410, new, in these parts). They look nicely fit and finished and take the pleniful 15 round Smith hicaps. I've never cared for Smith autos, but the low price, quality and simplicity of this line is kind of convincing.

Not a 910, but FWIW, my 908 is about 9 years old now, and is one of my most accurate 9mm's. I replaced the guide rod with the steel 3913 one, just because I felt better about it and it was cheap. I don't know about now, but back then S&W was the only source of night sights (Trijicons).
A good solid pistol, totally reliable and very accurate. Not one jam/stoppage/whatever you call it, ever........
