For the two cartridges you mention, I'd buy once fired off of one of the forums, such as this one. On the .357, you can even use .38 special brass for practice loads. No real need to buy new brass and overly expensive to boot for no really good reason. The once fired will last plenty long enough and work just fine. Better yet, if possible, pick up brass yourself at the range you shoot at. That way, it's free.

MagTech is good brass. I load it right along with the domestic brass and it last just as long.
Hope this helps.

I use the Mag tech in 45 Colt and ACP not as hot as your loads but some are stout. I haven't lost a piece yet from splitting.
I did see a guy shoot a 44 mag out of his 45 colt (miss boxed) it bulged but didn't crack.

I've had good luck with their brass...on a par with the domestic brands as far as I can tell.

For 40 S&W I like it better than Win.
