Microtech M-Socom ??

I purchased a Microtech knife several years ago; I would like to get some info on. The knife is never used, manual operation, has M-Socom over Microtech in a circle, has 9/98 to the side of the circle. It has a black blade and is a combo blade. Does anyone have any info? It has a cloth sheath/pouch, but no box. what is the value? I am looking to get my 1st custom blade.

It is pretty much what you paid for it since they're still in production, unless you have one that was ground by Walter Brend. If that's the case add about 50% to the MSRP for a collector.

Is it hollow ground or flat ground?

Sorry for the delayed reply; been away from the computer this weekend. I am not very knife "smart"; I don't know the difference between hollow & flat ground:confused:

Hollow = concave from spine to edge

Flat = well, flat from spine the edge
