Usually a pretty decent show. Any fellow Arizonans (or out-of-staters) planning to attend?

I work Friday night, 12 hours... going up to Phoenix might be a problem. And I don't think it will be worth it Sunday... most good stuff (like Miwall ammo) will be gone, just like it happens down here. And I just ordered some more reloading stuff... and I don't have money to buy anything really... but I still might go! :) I think it really depends on what my wife wants to do since she has Sunday off.

I'll be there peddling a few pre-II Kimbers, a NRM Colt w/Brown goodies, and maybe a stainless Ruger 77 .300 Winnie Mag. Usually wear an obnoxious Hawaiian shirt (easy to find me) and maybe a tan Tilley hat. Usually trolling around outside the buildings. Find me!!! Wish it was in the Icehouse again!

113...Yeah, but it's a slow roast! Doesn't seem to stem the tide of migrant Californians though. ;)

You don't have to wait long for a show in Tucson:

I go to the shows sometimes, dunno about this weekend. You can find accessories not available in the local stores, but you might have to look hard for bargains.

and the TSA guys were great. It was a slow time, so 3 of them gathered to watch me declare and secure the 2 handguns I was checking. We stood around and jawed while they admired the weapons. We talked about the gun show and other topics. We had such a good time, I forgot to check my BM Mini-Stryker Auto. :banghead: It is now in the care of the USPS, the airport very graciously sold me a padded envelope and postage for $2.50 so I could dispatch it home. I feel nekkid without it, but of course have plenty of back-up. A $100 knife riding on a $.37 stamp! Sure hope it shows up next week.:o

Been there done that today. It was, at best, OK for a Crossroads Show. Not as many vendors as usual and it was MISERABLE inside the buildings. It was a sweatbox inside with a few big fans on hand to move air. It was actually nicer outside. If someone had installed some portable showers and rented them out they could've made a killing. Prices seemed to be all over the board this time, some good, some outrageous. I also didn't like all the "Absolutely No Gun Sales In This Area" signs posted all around to discourage private sales. They were ignored of course, but it still irked me. I paid my outrageous admission price and, as long as it's not unlawful, I'll buy and sell to others as I see fit. Knowing what I know now I would have skipped it, and waited in eager anticipation for the December show.

The good thing was I sold a couple of Rugers and picked up a Walther P22 and some optics.

I was there too, trying to unload a couple of MAC 90s that Mrs. AZLib is insisting are taking up too much closet space. Not one person interested. I may go back tomorrow, in the interest of marital harmony, but dsgrntldPW is right when he says it was awful hot and humid in there.
