marlin did a limited run of stainless 1894's with a laminated stock a few years back. I like the look and want a laminated stock for my 1894ss. does anybody make one?

greyling22: Have you tried giving Marlin a call? They have an 800# and would likely be your best bet. You could also post on marlinowners.com and maybe one of the folks there will know of a source.

marlin's customer service blows. I"ve tried to get ahold of them for over 2 weeks now. calls, faxes, etc. nothing.

I heard they "restructured" marlin since "remington" bought them out. It's just another day at the office. Customer service blows.

Those were a very limited run for a single distributor. I looked on GB a while ago and a .41 mag model sold for $1,400 plus and a .357 mag model had a starting bid of $999!

Why Marlin does not offer stainless trappers and re-introduce the 39 Mountie model is beyond me????

Maybe try these guys for a stock http://www.gunstocksinc.com/index.html
