Anyone with experience with the company CQB SOlutions? Has anyone ever used these slings? How comfortable are they? Are they built pretty tough? Any opinions on the Emergency Release Buckle? Thinking about getting one for my Mini-14, M1A, and SKS.

i have three , one on a ar ,a mini-14 and a 870 . they are built very sturdy and work well. i would have no hesatation to by more and probably will.\
also you might need to know the mini-14 and m1a1 sling is the same ,one sling will fit both guns.

I have a couple on a couple of AR's. They work ok, but personally, I find them a little cumbersom and complicated. I'd buy just one first and try it out. If you have an AK with the sling swivel mounted on the side of the stock, I wouldnt bother with them at all, the Russian AK sling works just as well and is much sturdier.

Funny you should ask - I put one on an AR just this evening.

Seems well designed and sturdily built.

I've used CQB's slings for a couple years now and find them well made and easy to use. I've had them on ARs, AKs, a HK91, and just ordered one for an FAL; all work great.

I like the ERB option a lot. It makes dumping the weapon in an emergency very easy.

What pevents the sling from simply sliding off of the buttstock or the forearm?

They snug up pretty tight with velcro straps. Some attach to the underside sling swivel at the front too, depending on the gun. On some AR's with free float handguards, the front strap will not fit, as those handguards are larger than the standard handguard. I did get one to "just" fit mine, but I had to put another strap over top of the one thats on the sling for it to hold.

Thanks all.

I guess I'll order one for my M1A and see how it works on mini as well.

I was shopping for a sling for my Remington 870 and was going to get a 3-point system, but was told about the single point system and I ended up going with that.

I may get one for my Colt Sporter Lightweight. Granted, this solution won't work for the M1A/Mini-14/SKS.
