Plenty of solid deals. I bought a Marlin .357 carbine, a bunch of .308, some .45acp, a sling for a AR-180, a bunch of AR-15 mags, some ammo cans, and a PPS-43 magazine pouch for my nephew's GSG. Could have bought more but used some restraint (for once).:D

The haters always want something for nothing. It is almost as if they expect to be handed a gun free of charge upon entering the show. The universal cry of "Give me something for nothing!" has penetrated the gun culture.

I sometimes enjoy the smaller show for a change. Picked up a coupl 10 rnd mags for my AR varmint , some PMC Moderator (wish they had not stopped production), and some targets.

:)Sold my Keltec SU-2000/.40 within 15 minutes of walking in, but never found a good cheap range revolver a friend wanted. Overall had a great time and look forward to the next show in October. Can't wait to see the pre-election panic.

It's fun to look. I missed last weeks show.
Usually a fun time. I agree that people have the "if it's
at a show it should be free" mentality.
Sold my GP100 at the spring show in about 1 hr.
Guy got a great deal. I got a great deal on a 649.

Gotta agree with El T. Somehow, the absurdity of the cognitive dissonance inherent in expecting to always receive absolute top-dollar for what they want to sell while paying fire sale prices for what they want to buy doesn't seem to register with some folks.

Apparently, the assumption is that anyone else selling something should be so desparately in need of cash that they ought to be profoundly grateful to let it go for a pittance. Or that somehow a businessperson's costs magically decrease when they haul their merchandise to another venue.

main, you mean to tell me it's not all about ME? There are other factors involved and other people on the planet? What about ME?:p

I never miss it. I bought a Henry lever 22lr for $250 and my buddy picked on up for $220. I make it to every one I can.

I bought a new flashlight for my keyring, 3 sleeves for some of my long guns, and an extended mag for my Glock 45s that is actually going to work. No guns this time. But I still went both Friday and Saturday.
