RKBA is a politcal act. That's why it's included in the Bill of Rights.

The legal implications of RKBA are politcal. That's why the Judicial Branch of our government rules on RKBA. That's why our Legislative Branch passes laws about RKBA. That's why the Executive Branch of our government makes executive orders and signs bills regarding RKBA.

Strategies and Tactics regarding RKBA are politcal acts. They're mediated by what's legal, and by the politics of the government jurisdiction where we live.

Discourse is a political act. It's protected by the same Bill of Rights that protects RKBA. Being a member of and posting in a forum about RKBA is a politcal act.

Censorship is a political act. Censorship denies "We The People" the right to exercise our right to free expression just as assuredly as if our government would deny our RKBA.

So my question here is:

How in hell can one run a "gun forum" online which putatively supports the politcal act of RKBA and discourse / free exchange of ideas, and at the same time deprives members a free exchange of political ideas bearing upon RKBA.

There's an intellectual and discursive disconnect intrinsic to this paradigm, but I'll be damned if we can discuss it in an online forum which precludes the dialectical process of rhetorical exchange.

-- And let's not use the excuse that "we own the sandbox." That's the rejoinder of a despot.

It doesn't really matter what you think. What matters is what the owners and staff think and we have eliminated political discussion here because it detracts from our primary mission.

There are plenty of other places on the internet where you can discuss politics. Maybe you'd be happier on one of those sites.
