C&R Handgun Question

I'm in Pennsylvania. Can I transfer a C&R eligible handgun to another C&R holder privately, or do I have to go through a dealer? Can't seem to find anything on this in any of my books.

wouldn't that be handled just like any other sale of a firearm?
Probably just get a copy of his FFL and put a record in your bound book or whatever.
someone correct me if i'm wrong

If his/her locality allows it, and most do, you can ship C&R to C&R. Just make sure there are no local restrictions at the destination. Like, I can't ship to any C&R holder in NYC, for example.

C&R holders can ship C&R weapons directly to each other unless there are some local laws that don't allow it. There are specific ways one must ship but one can ship.

if the weapon was legally shipped to you in Penn. you can ship to another C&R holder as long as local laws allow it.fill in the "disposition" portion of your "bound Book" and ship away. you can use his FFL #,or his name, age, address, drivers license #.

You need to follow the applicable federal and state laws:
§ 6111. Sale or transfer of firearms (http://members.aol.com/StatutesP7/18PA6111.html) (scroll down a bit)
