Do and of you have plans/pictures/ideas for a lightweight portaple shooting table that could be built inexpensively and carried to the range or "back 40"? I have good woodworking skills and would be using it mostly for a pistol rest, but, would also want it to accomodate rifle sighting in duties. Any ideas, links, etc. would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Good looking Table rcmodel! Do you have plans? If not.... how wide and long is the plywood and about how long are the legs? I think I can handle the rest...
Thanks!

No plans, and the table is at my buddies place about 15 miles from here so I can't check the measurements.

Seems though, that everything was stock parts.

1/4 sheet of cabinet grade ply, and 3' threaded pipe sections from Home Depot.

The only hard part is cutting the angle shims for the pipe flanges.
You want the legs splayed out for stability.

If I had a do-over, I'd make the legs shorter by maybe 6".
The table is too tall with most standard folding lawn chairs, and marginal with real chairs like the one in the photo.

I'm only 5' 5" or so, and need two phone books to set on! :cuss:
