I have a lady friend - I'm visiting in a few weeks, and have family to visit
as well. So, she mentions oh btw, my brother gave me a
handgun. Oh? She said her brother shoed her the
operation of it in her backyard. She's following orders of not
touching it until she takes a basic safety and gun handling
course. All good.

SHe said it's a handgun her brother has had for approx. 20
years and it's a 9MM Sig. I don't know if it's a single or double
stack but I assume it's a P2nn model with a decocker.

I've searched around and found some of the better
Four Basic RUles of Handgun safety - I have been looking
for some more for her to review prior to my visit something
with operating a DA/SA semi-auto, target aquisition, and
sight '/ trigger management, etc.

Anybody got examples?

WHen I visit I know of an indoor range just north of town we
can go to and have her experiience shooting it for the
first time, I think the class she signed up for is in
later September.

ANy other ideas/advice?

SHe's single and takes care of her 90+ mother.

Randall

I checked out the site, good one. I passed the l
link along and she said it looked good as well and would
study up prior to her class.

Thanks,

Randall
