Here's a couple of my pocket pistols.
Colt Pony Pocketlite. Great little pistol, but it's getting hard to find parts for these. I wish Colt would start making these and/or Mustangs again!

My new Kel-Tec P-3AT (see my detailed review in another thread):

A S&W 340PD .357 Magnum snubbie.

And I'll toss in the Walther PPK/s, though at it's weight, it's pushing the limits of pocket carry.

I've replaced the standard "double-spring" recoil affair with a Wolff "extra strength" (one pound:rolleyes: ) single spring and installed a SM&A titanium guide rod to replace the stock black plastic rod. (That's the part which concerned me most.) I tried to get the SM&A aluminum trigger, but I was too late. *Does anyone know where I can buy a metal trigger for a Mustang?
The stock black plastic grips went too. I replaced them with some "ivory/polymer" grips that look just great and are pretty durable. My Mustang has turned into my "hip-pouch" pistol. At 11.5 ounces and in a Galco quick draw pouch, it's my "dog walking pistol". I wish Colt would bring these jewels back too.

I prefer the Bersa for a 'pocket' or 'dog walking' pistol.

I have some other small guns such as a Glock 30, but I am not convinced it is a "pocket gun".

FJC,
That Pocketlite looks nice. I didn't know they were DA. What is the weight of it? Is it a blowback or something else?
That looks like a good pocket gun. I can't believe I have never seen one before! Why weren't they a success?

I believe they were quite a success, and they are fairly sought-after even today. My understanding (correct me if I'm wrong) is that Colt was sued by another manufacturer over some aspect of the design. The lawsuit came at the height of Colt's financial woes 5 or so years ago, so these guns were discontinued.
I'm not sure on the weight, but it is quite light. The frame is aluminum alloy, the slide stainless steel.

Is this the gun that Kahr sued Colt over? I thought it was a 9mm but it could have been this one. I really have not been up to speed on Colt guns for some time.

In my hand is a Beretta 950 .22 corto (short).
To me, it's more of a novelty item than a real gun. But it shoots!

My Mustang is the better pocket gun imo, but the PM9 sees pocket duty on occasion.

This is a pic of my Pony Pocketlite.
I had a smith in Wendell North Carolina "melt" it, polish it up internally and coat it to make it black.
My wife shot it once and that is the last I have ever seen of it!
Great little weapon.

Almost true, compared to the glock, all my fingers actually fit on the grip of an XD-9 (compared to the G26). My pinky hung off the grip of the G26. And just my opinion I think the XD-9 looks better :)
But your right, size for size they're pretty much identical. I'm just... intrigued... by the new XD sub-compacts, that's all
