.32 S&W Long

.32-20 (haven't started yet, but it's for an S&W revolver)

.380 (haven't for a long time)

.38 Spl.

9mm Luger (haven't for a long time, ammo's too cheap)

.357 Mag.

.41 Mag.

.44 Spl.

.45 ACP

I've also reloaded some truly esoteric stuff, like the 11mm French Ordnance Revolver...

I realize there is a limit to the number of choices allowed in a poll.
Darn it.:)

Here's another shout-out for my homey, .41--handloader's best friend.

The "other" for me is the 41 and 32 H&R mags. If you asked for the most loaded it would be 38 special followed bu the 45 ACP.

swifter and all, sorry, I had to leave out some, and I am loading the .41 Magnum too... :D

I didn't think it would be that popular, but, that's what this poll's purpose was. :)

I voted for the 357 Magnum.

I don't yet reload (but I was on the Dillon web site last night and I was so close to buying the Square Deal.)

The 257 Magnum is the reason I want to get into reloading. I have been saving my brass up in both 38 special and 357 Magnum and I'm up to about 1000 rounds each. So it's about time I use it. I'm interested in loading the 357 with a 125 gr to around 1220-1300 fps and the 38 Special to 1100-1200 fps (38+P+?) Some where in the 9mm range. These loads are going to be for target shooting only, I shoot better with a load in those ranges.

My other interest is in the 9x19. I'd like to be able to load a 124 gr to 1150-1200 fps. Which is somewhere around NATO loads. But I'd like to do it with any bulet type I choose. Be it FMJ or JHP. The Gold Dot recall ammo isn't going to last forever :uhoh: so I need a cheap reliable source for 124gr 9mm loads.

If I ever decide to venture into the world of 45ACP I may be interested in different loadings.

But for now keeping my 7 9mm's feed is enough, the 3 357's are harder to feed with magnum loads. Thank God for Wal Mart and their $10 a bow 38+p Winchesters

.38 Special. Easy to reload. Brass retention is 100%. There have been years when I've bought no .38 Special commercial ammo at all.

.45 ACP. Nice big case, easy to reload. The only way I can afford to shoot .45 regularly ($4/50 for bullets, vs ~$15 for loaded ammo). Brass retention is the problem, of course.

.357 Magnum sometimes.

.380 rarely. I rarely shoot that gun anymore.

If I had something exotic, say, .455 Webley, I would certainly reload for it.

It would have been easier to click on the ones I don't load for. There were five.
I can think of at least a couple that arn't listed that I load for. 7.62x25, .455 Webly, and .25 ACP

40 for a glock, and 223 in addition to the other 5 or 6 standard pistol rounds............

Due to popular demand, I added .41 Magnum and a vote for each person who mentioned it here. I didn't change the 'Other?' count since the number there isn't important and might represent more than one 'other'.

:scrutiny: Hmmm... I reload for:

Haven't had the time to get into the .50s yet!:D

.40 S&W through my Glock 24P. Guestimate about 4000-5000 reloads through it, 5000-6000 rounds total with no major incidents. Just picked up an HK USP compact and shooting the same ammo through it.

.357 Mag and .38 Special through a Taurus 669. One double load on the .357 Mag which didn't hurt the gun but scared the crap out of me and went straight through the bowling pin I was shooting at without knocking it over.

.50 AE through my Desert Eagle. About 250 rounds. Developed "will barely lock the slide back" loads for pin shooting and was able to get a 4.7 second run on the clock at a local range. Lots of fun.

.44 Mag through my newly aquired DE barrel.

Load for many listed calibers, only glock that I own is a 10mm G20.
I shoot blazers out of it.
I shoot my 10mm loads through my razorback.

September 7, 2003, 10:11 PM
yep ... pretty much the ''usual'' ....... .38, 357, 45 ACP, 9mm, 44 mag .... but also .454 Casull and .455 Webley. May add .380 to the list eventaully.

.40 S&W-G22

I load .308 and .223 occasionally.

The poll shows about what I expected except for the 44 special, I thought a few more would reload it. And I expected a bit less for 9mm since it so cheap, but I guess the accuracy is with the reloads.

One day at the Barber shop an older gentleman said" If you find yourself reloading .25 auto, you've run out of things to do". One day I found a set of .25 auto dies for $10.00 and I couldn't resist. But one box was enough.
