I just got a chl (finally, after several delays), here in tx. I usually carry a little bersa .380 CC, which is a fun gun at the range and meets (barely) my pocket carry requirement. A pf-9 has been on my wishlist for a while, but on the other hand I'd also like something full size, which I could carry when I can afford to wear loose clothing IWB(it's mostly a weather permitting thing). A friend of mine has a daewoo .40 s&w with the weird tri-action trigger and it's really neat. I don't like glocks much, but then I've also considered just getting a little 5 shot 38 +p or .357. What would you get as your second carry gun in my position?

All depends on what you like, how big you are, how you dress (ability to conceal) and what fits your hand. My 2 primary carry guns are a Para Ordnance C-645 and a Sig Sauer P-226.

Were I in your position -- which I am -- and I had the finances to purchase a new sidearm, I would follow my personal tastes and pursue a medium framed revolver in .357 magnum.

There is just something perfect about such a combination...

daewoo .40 s&w

Daewoo? As in the car company? Not to change the subject, but pray tell of your friend's opinion of this firearm, my curiosity has been engaged.

EDIT: Indeed, Daewoo does (or did, I'm not certain) make firearms. This is not something that I've ever heard of before. Now I really must now, is the pistol worth its salt?

My first rifle was/is a Daewoo DR-200. I love it.
