I did a search , but didn't come up with anything on these particular units.

I was at a local store yesterday and came across one of these:

It is on clearance for $470.00. They also had the Sentry G4211 on clearance for $245.00. From what I see one the net, it looks like these are good prices. But I thought I would ask to be sure.

I am also looking for some opinions on these. I couldn't seem to find any reviews. I know all about Liberty, Canon and some of the others. I have read other RSC/safe discussions hear on THR and would really like to get a true safe one day, but quite frankly cannot afford them at this time (kids just got braces) and don't really have the room to put a LARGE RSC/Safe anyway. My kids are educated in the proper handling and use of firearms, but as a nervous dad, I still worry, plus I don't want one of their friends to "discover" any of my firearms.

I am thinking of getting one of these for the time being. What do you think?

Sentry is a Chinese, no frills, safe. With that said, they offer an excellent value for the money.

If your sole purpose is to deter smash and grab burglars and keep your kids away, then they are a good choice.
