One of the benifits of being a cowboy cook is being able to trade a few meals. Got this a few years ago from a Flint Knapper. Cost 3 meals and the bone from the venison ham I fixed for lunch!
The pistol is there for scale. It is a 3rd Model Dragoon.

That is one skill I wish I was better at is Flint Knapping, that is a fine spear point knife you have there.
