Pressure switch for TLR-1 on HD 1911?

Hey everybody, my first tier HD weapon is a railed 1911 with a Streamlight TLR-1 hung underneath (yes there is both a shotgun and a rifle as well but they are a short trek away so the 1911 stays in the nightstand). The problem is that, due to the position of the cuts in the rail, the switch is about 3/8" or so away from the front of the trigger guard, so it's difficult to reach the switch with either my strong index finger or my weak thumb, and awkward, in either case. I'm thinking about buying one of the pressure switch assemblies and mounting it to the grips - does anyone have any experience with these switches? Recommendations? Opinions?

Thanks!
